Malvern Town ended Westbury United’s 21-match unbeaten run in the league as goals from Joe Bates and Kyonn Evans revived the hosts’ play-off hopes.

Town have now won three games in a row in the last seven days having lost their previous four.

They now sit fifth in the Hellenic League Premier with seven games left to play in the regular season.

Teams from second to fifth make the play-offs in the league, so Town remain very much in the picture after falling to ninth just a week or so ago.

Into Division One and it was another good afternoon for Pershore Town, who backed up Monday night’s Worcestershire Cup semi-final win at Redditch with a 3-1 win at Cirencester Town Development.

Pershore sit in sixth in the table after winning their ninth game in 10 league matches.

Worcester Raiders conceded a late goal to nine-man Studley as the league leaders maintained their position at the top of the table.

Raiders led 2-1 at the break but could not hold on as Studley scored late to secure a point in a 2-2 draw.
