TWO Couch to 5k graduates did their first 10 kilometres at the Pershore Plodders annual race.

Pershore Plums hosted the multi-terrain action from the town's leisure centre as Tracy Taylor and Emma Lodge clocked one hour five minutes 51 seconds and 1.13.29 respectively.

Joggers' Simon Richardson was 20th in 42.18, Mike Bolton ran 48.03 and Kareen Mann was first in age category in 49.11.

Ian Dyson finished second in age category in 49.15 while Suzie Lane clocked 51.20, Warwick Taylor 52.34, Alison Priest 52.39, Pat Johnson 56.51, Rachel Cashmore 58.58, Helen Card 59.30, Neil Coleman 1.00.32 and Emma White 1.04.00.

Gerry Taggart was second in the over 75s age group in 1.05.15 with Lyn Coleman doing 1.05.54, Laura Williams 1.14.18 and Annie Robson 1.16.25.

Lynda Broadway and Mike Anstey completed a wet Malmesbury Flying Monk 10k in 1.01.22 and 54.28 respectively.

Ian Fuller said the Severn Bridge Half Marathon was "without doubt the wettest race I've ever done".

He finished in 2.09.05 while Keith Ruff did 1.44.53 and Andrew Brown 1.52.18.

At Credenhill the fifth running of the 6.3-mile canter produced medals for two Joggers.

Ian Walwyn was second under 70s man in 59.10 and Julie Caseley third under 60s woman in 1.04.58 while Vivien Tolley did 1.18.15.
