Malvern RFC will be eyeing a seventh straight victory this weekend as they prepare to face league leaders Ludlow at Spring Lane on Saturday afternoon.
Having gone and secured a brilliant bonus-point victory away at Hereford last weekend, Malvern will be confident ahead of their biggest test yet.
Hereford had toppled Ludlow the week before their match with Malvern and themselves had won seven on the spin.
But two tries from Lewis Hardiman and one from Ant Hitchings had Malvern 21-7 up at the break.
Jasper Windsor-Clive and Connor Giggle added scores in the second-half to secure the bonus-point and complete a terrific all-round display to move them into third in the table.
"This was a great win, we played well against a well organised, physical team who have been in fine form," said Cook after the contest.
"We knew that we couldn’t start as slowly as we did last week.
"The old adage forwards win games, backs decide by how much, has been so true for us this season.
"It is hard to single anyone out for special praise with such a 1-18 performance today. Our forwards delivering a solid platform that allowed the backs to play good rugby."
Malvern have won all five home games this season, so this is as much of a test for Ludlow as it is for the home team.
Kick-off is at 3PM.
