THE wait is over for rugby fans with next season's Premiership fixtures revealed.

Worcester Warriors kick off their season away at London Irish on September 10, with the team's first home game coming a week later against Exeter on September 18.

The clash with Exeter is the club's first game to be shown on BT Sport this season.

Home games with Newcastle and Quins fall either side of the derby with Gloucester at Kingsholm on October 1.

Warriors then take a break in gameweek six before resuming against Bristol on October 22.

Christmas sees Warriors take on Wasps in Coventry before a New Year's meeting with London Irish at Sixways.

The Premiership Rugby Cup fixtures have also been released, which sees Warriors begin the defence of their title away to Gloucester (20-21 September) in Pool A of the competition.

Steve Diamond’s men will also face Bath, Bristol and Exeter in the pool stages.

Tickets for the first three home matches will go on general sale on Tuesday July 26.

Warriors' first five games are as follows:

Round 1 - Saturday, September 10 - London Irish vs Worcester Warriors, Brentford Community Stadium, 3pm.

Round 2 - Sunday, September 18 - Worcester Warriors vs Exeter Chiefs, Sixways, 3pm.

Round 3 - Saturday, September 24 - Worcester Warriors vs Newcastle Falcons, Sixways, 3pm.

Round 4 - Saturday, October 1 - Gloucester Rugby vs Worcester Warriors, Kingsholm, 3pm.

Round 5 - Saturday, October 8 - Worcester Warriors vs Harlequins, Sixways, 3pm.
