WORCESTER Warriors' Scottish winger Duhan van der Merwe was at his destructive best at the weekend, scoring two tries in a losing cause for Scotland in Argentina.

Gregor Townsend's men were 31-20 up with 15 minutes to play in the three-match series decider with Los Pumas at the Estadio Unico Madre de Ciudades.

Duhan opened the scoring on the night with this beauty in typical can der Merwe fashion.

Scotland's Ewan Ashman also scored in the first-half as Scotland reached half-time with a 13-14 lead.

The Worcester star then crashed over from close range following another Ashman score to open up a 15-point lead on the night.

Blair Kinghorn kicked a penalty after Argentina had reduced the lead to eight with another try and with 15 to play it looked for all money Scotland were going to seal a 2-1 series win.

But Gonzalo Bertranou scored in the corner to cut the advantage to just four points before Edinburgh's own Emiliano Boffelli won it with the clock in the red to record a dramatic late win.
