TOM Dodd has signed a new contract at Worcester Warriors to keep him at the club for another year.
The club confirmed that the 24-year-old back-row forward has agreed to an extension that will keep him at Sixways until the end of next season.
Dodd had made a promising start to the 2021/22 campaign but an injury at Sale back in February saw him ruled out until the final game against Bath last weekend.
The academy product came through the Three Pears Warriors Academy and made his senior debut five years ago but has only made 26 appearances in the first team since then.
He is hoping this new contract will enable him to really kick on under Steve Diamond.
"Before the injury I was very pleased with the way things were going," he said.
"But the club is going in the right direction and with Steve Diamond coming in and straightening a few things out I think we can be very positive about next season."
Steve Diamond added: "Tom is a big, physical lad who has a good understanding of the game and he has a big future ahead of him."
