HAVING endured a difficult season, it proved to be a successful end to the 2021/22 campaign for Worcester Warriors.
Between late March and early June, Worcester ended a 17-month wait for a domestic away win with a 13-7 victory at Bath to secure a place in the semi-finals of the Premiership Rugby Cup, before winning that semi away at Kingsholm against rivals Gloucester in April.
They of course went on to lift that trophy at the Brentford Community Stadium against London Irish in dramatic fashion.
And then last weekend they ensured they did not finish the Gallagher Premiership bottom of the pile following the convincing 43-27 victory at Sixways against Bath.
Supporters and players celebrated their successes on the Sixways turf after the game on Saturday. A gallery of those images is at the top of this page so make sure to check those out.
Looking forward, now director of rugby Steve Diamond has completed his recruitment business for next season, with the final two players still yet to be officially confirmed (potentially revealed this week).
So with ending on a positive note and plenty of exciting players to join the club this summer, supporters of Warriors can be excited of what is to come in the next 12 months as a new 'Diamond Era' begins.
