WORCESTER Warriors ended a wait of 19 months without an away win in domestic rugby as a scrappy 13-7 win at Bath secured their place in the Premiership Rugby Cup semi-finals.

Tom Howe's second-half try and eight points from the boot of captain Billy Searle means Warriors finish their campaign with 16 points in Pool 1, but miss out on a home semi-final due to Gloucester's better points difference.

Gloucester, who won 35-15 at Bristol Bears, went into the game knowing a bonus point win at Ashton Gate would win them the group if Worcester failed to win with the maximum points and that was how the evening transpired.

It means Steve Diamond's side will head to Kingsholm for their final four match with Gloucester, whilst London Irish will host Leicester Tigers in the other semi.
