Worcester Raiders' league game against Smethwick Rangers has been postponed due to a "Covid-19 concern".
Raiders were due to travel to Staffordshire for their West-Midlands (Regional) League Premier Division clash this evening but Smethwick confirmed on twitter that they have had to withdraw as a "precautionary measure".
Their official tweet read: "Due to guidance from NHS England, the club has had to withdraw from our home fixture against Worcester Raiders tonight as a precautionary measure due to a COVID-19 concern.
"We thank everyone involved for their support." (@SmethwickR_FC)
Worcester were hoping to go back to the top of the the table against second-from-bottom Rangers, who have lost all six of their league games so far this campaign.
Raiders' chairman Steve Harris said: "I think we can just say everyone at Worcester Raiders wishes them well.
"Obviously we are all disappointed, but we turn out attentions now to Darlaston away on Saturday."
The game has been postponed and will be re-arranged for a later date.
