MALVERN Town Reserves have some Friday night football to look forward to during the month of January at the HDanywhere Community Stadium.

Peter Daffin’s side, who sit in second place in the Herefordshire FA League Premier Division with seven wins from nine games, have three home fixtures over the course of the month.

It all starts this Friday when Hinton provide the opposition before Town welcome Kingstone Rovers on Friday, January 17, and then round the month off with the visit of Hereford Pegasus Reserves on Friday, January 24.

All three games will have a 7.45pm kick-off.

“The lads have done well in the first half of the season and we hope that by playing on a Friday evening more supporters will be able to come along and cheer us on,” said manager Peter Daffin.

“We’ve played some nice stuff on the new playing surface and it’s also been good to be able to integrate some of the talented lads from the youth team into the side as part of their development.

“We encourage as many local people as possible to come along and take a look. Your support would be much appreciated.”

Town’s other game during the course of the month is a Herefordshire FA Charity Bowl tie at Holme Lacy on Saturday, January 11 (1.30pm).
