A MALVERN-based club enjoyed success at a regional competition.
Thirty members of City of Worcester and Malvern Gymnastics Club headed to Fenton Manor Sports Complex, Stoke, for the GFA Floor and Vault Championships.
The advanced 11 and under girls’ team placed first and the nine and under group were second with one gymnast winning overall individually in the younger age group.
The Malvern branch in Spring Lane South was taken on in 2012 by the club who now work with more than 1,000 participants a year from the ages of two up to 50.
Malvern’s lead recreational coach Jasmine Kristy said: “The weekend was a great success and a real reward for all of the gymnasts’ hard work over the past months.
“We are really proud of our gymnasts and have high hopes for the future.”
