BRANSFORD golfers braved the wet and wintry elements to play the December stableford.
Rob Turner (19 handicap) won with 35 points from Chris Ritson (28) on 32, Craig Berry (19) and Marvin Miles (18) on 30 and Steve Collinson (8) and Andy Kennedy (11) on 29.
Kennedy was in good form in a turkey trot with 42 points to see off Mitch Fowles (13) on 39, Gordon Jack (8) on 35 and Andy Goodall (25) and Paul Symonds (9) on 34.
The seniors' white stableford was called off due to the weather but the yellow stableford produced a win for Alan Ford in Division One.
Ford (10) got a birdie and 11 pars for 39 points to beat Trevor Atkinson (15) and Chris Bloore (18) on 35, Ferey Ghani (17) on 32, Paul Cooke (20) on 31 and Mike Davidge (17) on 30.
Mike Murley (21) led Division Two with four pars for 34 to see off Trevor Ditchfield (25) on 32, Dave Lindsay (30) and John Phillips (23) on 30 and Gerry McCurry (24) on 29.
Roger Steade (31) scored 36 in Division Three to finish ahead of John Knowles (29) on 34, Mike Hendry (30) on 32, Ray Richardson (28) on 29 and Brian Taylor (27) on 28.
