WORCESTER boxer Owen Cooper impressed once again as he won his second professional bout to maintain his unbeaten record.

The 19 year-old took on the busy Fonz Alexander who was competing for the 116th time in just his fifth year as a professional boxer.

Cooper was just 13 when Alexander made his pro debut but dominated throughout the four-round contest.

Strong at the weight, Cooper boxed well behind a disciplined style and Alexander’s come-to-win approach made for an exciting contest.

The welterweight division fight was on the BCB Promotions Battle at the Banks’ show card at Walsall Football Club.

Former Worcester City Amateur Boxing Club ace Cooper saw off Paul Cummings in his first professional fight in late September.
