MALVERN runners flocked to take on the popular Croome Capability Canter.

Organised by Black Pear Joggers at Croome Park, more than 300 runners tackled the 10th anniversary of the muddy 6.4-mile off-road run on a mild day.

Alison Webb finished second woman for Malvern Buzzards in 51 minutes 11 seconds.

Julie Caseley was second woman 55 and over in 59.26 There were times of under 50 minutes for Buzzards' Jack Abbotts in 42.00, Marc Heptinstall in 45.34 and Sam Burnage in 45.42 while Malvern Joggers' Neil Warne did 45.32 for 14th place and Ben Toon 49.02.

Buzzards' Adam Dyson clocked 51.13, Jack Young 55.28, Martin Reed-Darby 57.24, Neil Griffith 58.11, Sophie Barnes 59.18, Elizabeth Crosswell 59.30, Kate Dolphin 1.00.09, Rachel Vann 1.02.12, Hannah Topp 1.04.24, Melanie Jones 1.13.01, Gillian Lynes 1.13.33, Charlotte Shepherd 1.13.33 and Gerry Taggart 1.21.32.

Joggers' Andrew Brown did 52.07, Andrew Gallagher 54.32,Warwick Taylor 54.44, Maliecha Mckelvie was seventh woman, Paul Newman 55.52, Jamie Francis 58.14, Alvin Milner 58.24, Barbara Gawlak 1.00.02, Lucy Gallagher 1.00.10, Alison Priest 1.00.20, Julian Kavanagh 1.01.54, Julia Heron 1.05.06, Pat Johnson 1.07.13, Vivian Tolley 1.10.58, Tracy Taylor 1.12.53, Lance Tombs 1.29.15, Ian Whitlock 1.30.29, Emma White 1.34.07, Laura Williams 1.36.05 and Adam Whitlock 1.36.24. 

At the Gloucester 10k, Joggers' Suzie Lane smashed her personal best with 48.07 while Martin May finished in 55.07 and Nick Johnson in 1.01.39.
