UPTON Rugby Club are making a promising start in their bid to bounce back at the first attempt after relegation.
They lead Midlands Four West (South) and beat the wet weather as well as hosts Claverdon 33-5 last weekend.
With their next league game at home to second-placed Old Yardleians on Saturday, November 9, Upton already boast a six-point advantage over their opponents after winning the first five games.
Bromyard are fifth after hosts Coventrians claimed a walkover last weekend.
Malvern’s Midlands Two West (South) match with Barkers Butts at Spring Lane was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
They are next in action at Earlsdon on November 9.
