THE Worcester City Half Marathon and 10k attracted a big turnout of Malvern Joggers of all abilities.

There were 14 Joggers in the half marathon and their fastest man was Henry Walker in 10th in one hour 19 minutes 59 seconds.

Joggers' fastest woman was Maliecha McKelvie in 1.43.57.

Out of 33 Joggers in the 10k the best were Ben Toon in 41.30 and Rachel Reed in 51.59.

Previously, the Great North Run over 13.1 miles was completed by Joggers' Andrew Brown in 1.48.41, Jamie Francis in 1.54.12, Shona Toon in 2.33.25 and Judy Dendy in 2.38.48.

In a club champions league race at Stafford 10k, Simon Richardson ran 40.21, Pat Johnson a personal best of 56.03, Alvin Milner 48.50, Warwick Taylor 49.48, Tommy Baker 59.32, Helen Card 1.02.43 and Janet Baker 1.08.57.

The Lake Vyrnwy Half Marathon was done by Annaelle Bolton in 1.55.43.

A team of Joggers and friends competed as a team in the Devil Mud Run in the Cotswolds with a 10km run and 31 obstacles.

Malvern Vegan Runners' Paul Millsom took the men's 60 and over prize at the Worcester City Half Marathon in 1.30.16.

Millsom knocked 33 seconds off the category record and finished five minutes ahead of second place.

In the 10km race, Jonathan Herod was 54th in 39.20 in his first race since January after a back injury.

Lesley Ashton clocked 57.18 and Fiona Curnow 1.02.50.

A large team of Malvern Buzzards took on the Worcester City run.

The 10k times were Malachi Cashmore 35.06, Paul Dolphin 38.10, Sam Burnage 38.33 (third M45), Dan Kelly 41.53, Sarah Kellet 43.43 (third F40), Paola Sestito 44.02, Neil Griffith 53.03, Sophie Barnes 54.12, Mark Heptinstall 55.28, Dave Woodward 55.28, Emma Woodward 55.28, Emma Foreman 55.28, Rachel Vann 57.11, Keith Forde 57.48, Charlotte Shepherd 1.00.07, Rachel Cashmore 1.00.19 and Melanie Jones 1.00.26.

The half marathon times were Adam Wilson 1.18.41 (sixth and first M45), Lewis Faulkner 1.24.40, Dominique Kent 1.32.51 (sixth woman, first F50), Paul White 1.34.14, Andy Dickenson 1.37.20, Sam Eden 1.38.29, Jasper Trevelian 1.42.36, Martha Worthington 1.42.59, Martin Reed-Darby 1.47.55, Steve Jalim 1.49.10, Wesley Ogden 1.49.41, Jack Young 1.55.09, Nick Vakis-Lowe 1.56.22, Gavin Trevelian 2.05.31 (first M75), Rob Banks 2.15.28, Roy Nutbeem 2.16.35 and Jenny Bond 2.17.40/ Julie Caseley ran the Upton Bishop Big Dipper 10k in 55.31 before winning her age group at the Waseley Wobbler in 1.28.19.
