WORCESTERSHIRE Cricket Society have made a late change to their winter programme of guest speakers.
Former Glamorgan paceman Malcolm Nash had been booked for March but died on July 30 in hospital in London after falling ill at a function at Lord’s.
Ex-Worcestershire, Somerset and Derbyshire paceman Fred Rumsey, who was the founder of the Professional Cricketers’ Association in 1967, will instead be guest speaker in March.
Rumsey has just published his autobiography and will be accompanied by cricket book writer Stephen Chalke.
All meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month in the Graeme Hick Pavilion at Blackfinch New Road from October until March at 7.30pm.
