NEIL Warne was first home for Malvern Joggers in their champions league race at the Pershore Plum 10k.

With 17 Joggers running Warne reached the finish in Abbey Park in 43 minutes 22 seconds.

Mark Walker clocked 47.02, Jamie Francis 49.05, Mike Bolton 50.33, Warwick Taylor 52.33, Alvin Milner 52.58, Barbara Gawlak 55.03, Jonathan Fligelstone 55.14, Julia Heron 1.00.27, Pat Johnson 1.01.42, Julian Kavanagh 1.01.20, Tracey Taylor 1.03.39, Chris Barker 1.04.12, Emma White 1.12.41, Ian Whitlock 1.18.43, Adam Whitlock 1.18.44 and Laura Williams 1.20.50.

The Severn Bridge Half Marathon near Chepstow involved eight Joggers.

Simon Richardson did 1.41.08, Chris Prosser 1.52.23, Andrew Brown 1.53.00, Suzie Lane 1.55.26, Ian Fuller 2.14.27, Helen Reid 2.19.00, Helen Card 2.37.04 and Viv Tolley 2.46.19.

Meanwhile, Steve Massey completed the Three Peaks Challenge in 24 hours 26 minutes after losing an hour or so due to severe jams.

Massey said: "But I’m not bitter. It was an amazing experience.

"I'll most probably never do all three British peaks in such glorious weather again."
