BRANSFORD Golf Club will repeat their pro-am and am-am competition next month after last year’s successful inauguration event.

Club professional Tim Shephard said: “We had a very successful 22 teams play in it last year and I really would like to push for 30 this year if not more.

“We are the only club in the Worcester series to be holding a pro-am and am-am which will be held on Tuesday, September 24, and this means a team of four amateurs can play in it as there’s no need to get a pro in your team."

Shephard is also looking for tournament sponsorship. More details and entry forms are available at or 01886 833621.

Tee times will be from 10am and there will be prize giving at the conclusion.
