GOLFER Harry Chadwick has been crowned Bransford's club champion for the second year in a row.

But even the 20-year-old could not match David Hunt who fired in a hole-in-one in the seniors' first round.

The club’s three championships were staged over 36 holes and Chadwick, a scratch golfer, claimed the primary event.

He led after a level-par first-round 72 with six birdies and six pars and then returned a two-over-par 74 including three birdies and 10 pars for a total of 146.

Course manager Graham Wallace (2 handicap) was runners-up with two rounds of 76 for 152.

Jonathan Hunt (6) and Andy Lammas (6) finished on 156 with scores of 82 and 74 and 81 and 75 respectively.
