WORCESTERSHIRE have switched their Specsavers County Championship match against Derbyshire from Blackfinch New Road to Kidderminster Cricket Club.

The Division Two fixture has been moved to Chester Road so that preparatory work and cleaning up can continue at the County’s headquarters after the recent flooding.

The four-day game will get under way on Sunday, July 7, at Kidderminster and is the second Championship encounter to have been transferred after last week’s draw against Sussex.

The club hope to be back at Blackfinch New Road for the opening home Vitality Blast match against Birmingham Bears on Friday, July 19.
