HARRY Yardley-Rose is pursuing Motorsport UK British Kart Championships success.
The Hanley Castle High School pupil, 15, is third ahead of rounds five and six at Fulbeck, Lincolnshire, on June 22 and 23.
Yardley-Rose started the season in Grantham with a crash in practice leaving an injured ankle and damaged kart.
But the teenager hit back for fifth and fourth in his heats after starting in ninth.
He was 12th in the first final before improving to third in the second contest with the fastest lap.
At Rissington, Gloucestershire, for rounds three and four, Yardley-Rose qualified in pole position and won his heats.
He then enjoyed a double podium with first and second in the finals.
