MALVERN Vale have agreed a deal for their main two Saturday football sides to play home games from Dyson Perrins Academy next season.

It comes after years of difficulty for the club who have played out of Malvern Vale Community Centre but suffered with drainage problems.

The issues left them struggling to cope financially after having to source other venues at additional cost.

First team manager Devin Ward said: "It's a great opportunity for us to stay within the Malvern Vale community which is at the heart of the club, have great facilities including the 3G pitch and hopefully be able to play in all weathers all year round.

"We are extremely grateful to Dysons for the deal they put together for us that has enabled us to move to their venue. It wouldn't have been possible without their help."

Vale Firsts were promoted for the second season in a row, winning Cheltenham League Division Three.

The first pre-season friendly at the new ground will be against West Midlands League side Worcester Raiders on Saturday, July 13 (1.30pm).
