A DAY of tennis at Manor Park was provided by two former Davis Cup players.
Danny Sapsford and Luke Milligan from the charity Bright Ideas for Tennis took on-court training sessions over five hours for 80 players young and old, passing on their tactical and technical knowledge.
It culminated in Manor Park juniors Sam Cassidy, Sam Laidler, Beth Pye and Lois Burgess playing tie-break shoot-outs against Sapsford and Milligan.
The final match saw county champion Jamie Marks and head coach Chris Skinner just coming up short against the pair.
An evening dinner was followed by an auction of promises with the money raised going towards ongoing tennis developments at the club.
