MALVERN College hosted the 27th annual National Preparatory Schools’ Cross-Country Championships.
The 1,075 pupils from more than 75 schools tackled windy conditions although sunshine eventually broke through.
Races for under 11s boys and girls and under 13s boys and girls were run over equal distances over the college campus and Wells Common.
AWARDS
U11 girls: Jemima Davey 11 minutes and 5 seconds; team Somerhill, Kent; Small School Trophy Leweston School, Dorset.
U11 boys: Barney Hastings 10.18; team Cheam School, Berkshire; Small School Trophy Tockington Manor School, Bristol.
U13 girls: Darcy Dryden 12.16; school and Small School Trophy Leweston School.
U13 boys: Quinn Miell-Ingram 11.24; school Hazlegrove School, Somerset; Small School Trophy Tockington Manor.
