INJURY-HIT Malvern Joggers runner Henry Walker bounced back at the Seville Marathon.

He said: "I was going well but the last eight miles were hard work having not got the miles in my legs due to injury issues.

"I finished in two hours 53 minutes 31 seconds so was pleased with the result."

Twenty-six Joggers flocked to the popular Worcester parkrun at Pitchcroft for a club champions league event.

They were led home by Ben Toon in 20.13 followed by Ian Fuller (21.50), Claire Haynes (22.15), Alvin Milner (22.18), Andrew Brown (22.52), Stephen Wiggins (23.11), Warwick Taylor (23.47), Jamie Francis (23.56) and Jonathan Fligelstone (24.51).

Then followed Julie Caseley (26.22), Tracey Taylor (27.56), Pat Johnson (29.00), Jane Spicer (29.56), Sheila Sherringham (31.51), Mark Spicer (31.53), Ian Whitlock (32.05), Lynn Forrester-Walker (32.23), Emma White (32.47), Susan Lewis (33.10), Elizabeth Carter (33.20), Graham Bird (33.21), Janet Baker (35.10), Jodie Moffatt (35.11), Laura Williams (35.21), Andrew Johnson (37.22) and Shona Toon (50.23).

Joggers' Ian Dyson and Carl Flint did Wye Valley Runners' Muddy Woody race over a challenging 6.5 miles in 1.08.30 and 1.12.32 respectively.

Dyson also took part in the Longmynd Valleys Race, clocking 3.01.57.
