CHAMPIONS Callow End maintained their pursuit of leaders Oak Apple with a 3-0 triumph at Northside on Sunday.

A strike from Reece Boufton followed by a double from Ash Millard helped to secure the win that closed to three points the gap at the top of the Premier Division table.

Perrywood remain third and now trail Callow End by two point having been held to a 2-2 draw at Clifton Rovers. George Haywood and Josh Stafford netted for the hosts.

Leaders Colwall Wanderers made it 10 wins from 11 by overcoming Perdiswell Colts 3-1 on the road. GDL Athletic and Rifleman cancelled out each other with a 1-1 draw.

Goals for Jason Payne, Martin Newman, Paris Blake and a double from Michal Dicapita helped Blackpole Sports to a 6-1 success over Droitwich Spa Eagles in the Nursing Minor Cup. Hornets are also safely through after Jake Wilkinson’s strike was enough to knock out Bromsgrove League AFC Norton 1-0.
