MALVERN Joggers hosted their annual awards ceremony.

The year had its ups and downs but with over 200 members the club continue to go from strength to strength.

There were some great performances this year.

Mike Bolton won the men's champions league from Simon Richardson and Andrew Brown,

The women's equivalent went to Alison Priest ahead of Julie Caseley and Vivien Tolley.

Jerry Greer claimed the Chairman's Award for unsung hero.

Paul Newman bagged the Chris Barker Award for the person who has done most to promote the club.

Best newcomer was Tracey Taylor and most improved runner was Helen Card.

The Joggers Jogger award went to Ian Fuller.

Joggers' two free London Marathon places went to Jason Protheroe and Mark Hartland.

Two places for the Eastnor Mud Bath were raffled to Zoe Lancett and Maddie Preston, raising £104 for the Stroke Association.

Meanwhile, Joggers' Simon Richardson ran from Malvern to compete in the Worcester Park Run which he then won, finishing the five-kilometre race in 19 minutes three seconds.

Kareen Mann travelled to the Telford 10k and clocked 50 minutes.

The Malvern Santa Run was again popular with Joggers and their families with a number taking part.
