MALVERN Buzzards' Stephen Beldon was second male over 40 at the Croome Capability Canter.

The 10.5-kilometre trail race was completed by Beldon in 40 minutes 40 seconds with Sam Burnage third in the category in 42.52.

Jack Abbotts was third senior male in 41.54 while Matthew Downes clocked 42.26 and Paul Dolphin 43.06.

Vikki Sivertsen finished third woman and first over 45 in 46.23 with Paul White doing 48.21, Martin Reed-Darby 48.26 and Andrew Hughes 51.06.

Ali Webb got third woman over 45 in 51.17 alongside club-mates Kate Dolphin in 56.52, Alice Dyson in 57.23, Elizabeth Price in 1.05.28, Jennie Bond in 1.07.43 and third man over 70 Gerry Taggart in 1.15.44.

Worcester's Leonardo Taggio ran with the Buzzards colours for first man over 50 in 43.32.

Megan James ran the Southern Spain trail challenge ­— three hard marathons on consecutive days.

She was 11th overall and first senior woman with a total time of 19.03.51.
