BRANSFORD'S club presentation evening was held at the Bank House Hotel.

Jenny Bennett and her daughter Jodie won the Ladies Handicap Trophy and the Ladies Club Championship respectively, receiving trophies from club captain Rob Richards.

Mitch Fowles and his son Norton claimed the Stewards Cup while Will Ritson was the first winner of the new junior club championship.

There was a tight finish in the seniors' November yellow stableford where just two points covered the five players at the top.

Victory went to Rob Blake (15) with 37 followed by Alan Ford (10) on 36 and Mark Heason (13), Tony Lee (19) and Dave Parry (18) on 35.

Trevor Atkinson (15) and Keith Edgell (19) got 34 and Richard Steele (15) 33.

In Division Two, two points covered the top six.

Mike Weaver (20) won with 38 from Dave Ryall (21), Alan Cockill (20) and Mike Murley (20) on 37 and Peter Harrison (24) and Martin Linley (21) on 35.

Paul Edlin starred with 41 in Division Three, three more than Charlie Hawkridge (25), followed by Chris Griffin (31) and Alan Wallcroft (25) on 35, Pauline Wetton (28) on 34 and Brian Taylor (25) on 33.

Sue Thornley (26) claimed the turkey trot competition with 42 points to see off Dave Lewis (9) on 40.

Mitchell Fowles (12) took third on 39 from Will Ritson (41), Andy Kennedy (11), Andy Goodall (27) and M Smart (20) on 38.

Home advantage was again the key to success in the second round of the inter-club winter league.

Hosts Little Lakes won on nine points with rounds at Wharton Park and The Staffordshire to come.

Wharton Park scored seven and both Bransford and The Staffordshire four.

Lakes have an overall 15 with Bransford just two behind and Park on 12 and The Staffordshire on eight.

Bransford's Wallcroft (25) and Phil Spencer (20) won 8&7 and Roger Clark (24) and Mike Davidge (16) two-up.

But Andy Falconer (25) and Dave Miller (18) lost 5&3, Adrian Wood (26) and Lee Dyment (20) 3&2, Dave Lindsay (22) and Ferey Ghani (16) 3&1 and John Phillips (21) and David Wild (13) 5&3.
