JOSH Tongue is in England Lions' squad for the one-off Test against Pakistan A in Abu Dhabi from November 18.
But the Worcestershire bowler’s inclusion is subject to medical clearance after suffering a foot injury during the current match with Yorkshire.
Tongue, who has taken 40 Championship wickets this season, is having an MRI scan to assess the damage.
The 20-year-old was selected for Lions' tour of the West Indies last winter but had to withdraw due to an ankle injury.
Nottinghamshire-bound Joe Clarke is also in the Test squad as well as the party for five one-day internationals and two T20s.
Meanwhile, Vitality Blast finals day batting hero Ben Cox heads to the UAE next week.
The County wicketkeeper-batsman, 26, is to play in the Abu Dhabi T20 League for Boost Defenders.
Hobart Hurricanes, Lahore Qalandars, Multiply Titans, Auckland Aces and Yorkshire are also involved.
