MALVERN Joggers' Julie Caseley set herself a new challenge this year after completing the London Marathon.

She was also successful in gaining a ballot place in the Ride Prudential London-Surrey 100-mile bike ride in July.

Having also successfully completed this event, Caseley heard about the London Classics which comprises the London Marathon, Ride 100 and a two-mile swim in the Serpentine in London's Hyde Park.

She completed the swim in the Serpentine in wet, cool conditions but the water temperature was still warm enough for an optional wetsuit swim.

Caseley now has a specially-designed London Classics medal having completed the iconic trio of events and will also be listed in the event's hall of fame.
