JAMIE Marks and Kate Horsburgh were crowned CFS Herefordshire and Worcestershire County Closed Championships singles champions at Malvern’s Manor Park.
The week-long tournament saw singles and doubles action in all age groups from under eights through to the seniors.
Malvern-based coach Jamie retained his county men's singles title by defeating Oliver Nunn 6-2, 6-3.
But Nunn shrugged off that disappointment to team up with Mike Langston to win the men’s doubles, beating Adam Dudek and Jack Smith 7-6, 6-3.
In the women’s singles, Worcester Lawn Tennis Club's Horsburgh was in fine form to beat Imogen Sinclair 6-1, 6-2.
But the tables were turned between the pair in the under 18s section when Sinclair triumphed 7-6, 2-6, 10-8.
The pair joined forces to lift the women’s doubles crown against Hannah Gibbons and Lucy Hawkes.
In the boys' under 18s, Billy Wright overcame Matthew Sime 6-4, 6-2.
