LEDBURY’S Alex ‘Pinky’ Florence made a victorious return to the ring after three cancelled fights.
From the first round of the super-lightweight bout at Walsall Football Club, Florence exhibited speed and power punching against an experienced and durable Ibrar Riyaz from Reading.
As the bout progressed, he dominated with accurate jabs and thundering body shots.
By the end of the third round Riyaz had no answer to Florence’s determination and skill.
After coasting in the fourth and final round the Ledbury fighter gained a unanimous decision.
The comfortable win adds to Florence’s blossoming reputation which has attracted a growing army of fans.
Florence is due to step into the ring for his fourth professional bout on March 3 at Walsall Town Hall.
