Rory Jones has been selected for England U17s.
MALVERN College Prep School pupil Rory Jones has been selected to represent England in the World Championships after competing in the All-England U17s trials in the National Federation of Anglers Sport England competition in Milton Keynes.
Rory, aged 13, is the youngest member of the U17 team. His first match will be in the Czech Republic in late July.
Sponsored by the Ledbury Tackle Shop and Woody's Angling in Hereford, he fishes in the senior Wyvern League and regularly competes in both junior and senior matches elsewhere.
He is a member of the Herefordshire Fishing Academy and the Ledbury and District Angling Association.
