PLAYING at Sapey Golf Club, the Ladies from The Worcestershire Golf Club retained the Redgrove Trophy, an annual competition inaugurated by Lyn Bailey 17 years ago, a former member and lady captain of both clubs.
The winner is decided by the total of the best eight medal scores from 12 players.
On lady captain's day, Jill Piner won the Salver with an excellent score of 43pts. Winner of the silver division Pat Catlin scored 34pts, second Sandra Schofield with 32 beating Cath Francis on countback.
Winner of the bronze division Corinne Mills came in with 38pts, reducing her handicap and putting her back into silver division, beating Jenny Butler into second place on countback, third Liz Pool with 36pts beating Di Wilde on countback.
The ten-hole competition was won by new member Sharon Williams with Audrey Emery in second place.
