MALVERN’S Callie Halliday continued her season in dramatic style at the National Water Sports Centre in Nottingham.
The 19-year-old finished second in the sixth Premier League race of the campaign, earning 900 points towards her national ranking.
The next day was the second leg of the Pan Celtic Cup with Halliday racing for England in the senior ladies’ C1 class.
She was on top form and helped her country to a win with an individual second place in the National Championships.
Halliday heads to north Wales at the end of May for another Premier League race and the last of the Pan Celtic Series.
