WELLAND Juniors Girls under 13s struck back after falling behind to win 4-1 at Pershore Town in the Mercian Festival Junior League.
A fine exchange of passes between Olivia Baker-Law and Megan Jones saw the latter equalise before Lucy Walton held the defence together in the second period.
Jones added her second alongside a brace from Baker-Law with Sian Cousins providing an assist.
In the boys’ division, Leigh and Bransford Badgers Spurs were left to rue a host of missed chances after a 2-2 draw at Droitwich Spa.
Wayward finishing and defiant defending saw them go into the break with only a 1-0 lead courtesy of midfielder Joel Stubbins.
Debutant striker Ash Dallow, on as substitute, finished off Ross Grimshaw’s pass in the second period but Spa pulled a goal back and then levelled with a late penalty.
