A TALENTED girl from Malvern is celebrating being crowned a world champion.
Imogen-Myah Frater first started Irish dancing back in 2016 at the age of six and won 1st place in the WIDA world championships, who launched a worldwide digital competition after Covid saw last year's world championships cancelled.
Dancers submitted videos from around the world and were scored by a panel of 12 judges.
Entrants came in from America, Canada, Britain, Belarus, Russia, Hong Kong and many more, with Imoggen-Myah winning first place, meaning the Madresfield Primary School pupil is now the Under-11 world champion.
Imogen-Myah started Irish dancing at the age of six, joining McCarthy-Felton Irish Dancing school in January 2016, based in Salford Priors Evesham, she entered at beginner level and through the years is now at the top level of Open Championship.
