A MAN has been charged for assaulting an emergency worker.
Police arrested a man last night (July 7) in Malvern after spitting at an officer who was there to check on his welfare.
He is remanded in custody,
BTP Gloucestershire Worcestershire & Herefordshire posted on Twitter: "1 male arrested this evening in #malvern for assault emergency worker after spitting at a SWorcsCops officer who was there to check on the males welfare.
"Now residing in a cell ready to be dealt with by early turn officers."
They later shared: "Male has now been charged and remanded in custody for assaulting an emergency worker."
