MANY pubs and restaurants across the county of Herefordshire reopened their doors on Saturday, July 4 for the first time since the government imposed lockdown in March.

Some are operating as an outside venue only, some have cashless systems in place. All have taken the government guidelines on board and adapted them to make their business premises safe and welcoming.

Here's what some of them are telling their followers and customers on social media:

The Spread Eagle, Hereford

De Koffie Pot, Hereford - A huge thank you to all our guests at De Koffie Pot and The Left Bank Village this past weekend. In particular we would like to mention how accepting our customers were of our strict two metre policy.

We are sticking with two metres for the foreseeable future.

Gentlemen are not always the best judges of length after consumption of alcohol, and we thank the guys for making the effort to abide by two metres.
