OWNERS of a shop in Worcester, which hasn’t re-opened after closing during lockdown, have updated customers on their future.
Mallards of Worcester’s High Street shop has remained closed since late March and the owners say they are now focusing the business on online sales and trading at fairs, to sell their mix of gifts, home products and jewellery.
A spokesman said: “We have made the decision to adapt the company and our way of trading. We’ll be exhibiting at local fares and the NEC Festive Gift Fair. Mallards of Worcester was trading with only one member of staff to help keep our costs low so we could pass on the best prices.
"The internet remains our main income source but we don’t want to lose the interaction with customers so will be popping up across the country. We ask you to visit our website and follow us on Instagram and Facebook.”
