HOBBYCRAFT has reopened its store in Hereford following the change in government guidelines and the easing of lockdown restrictions.
The arts and craft chain said safety and wellbeing of its staff, customers and communities remains the top priority.
The store at Spur retail park in Holmer Road reopened on June 15 with social distancing and extensive safety measures.
These include measures similar to those being carried out at stores across the county, such as limiting the number of customers in store at once, a sanitising station for hands, trolleys and baskets, and personal protective equipment (PPE) for staff.

Hobbycraft CEO Dominic Jordan said: “Our stores have always been a social centre of the community and after what has been a challenging period, we are delighted to be reopening and welcoming our customers back into stores.
“The safety and wellbeing of our colleagues and customers is of the upmost importance and in line with Government guidelines we have implemented social distancing measures and up-weighted health and safety measures to ensure everyone feels safe while visiting us.”
Throughout the lockdown, which was announced by Prime Minister Boris Johnson on March 23, the retailer said it had provided products directly to NHS staff and other frontline workers who were making PPE, as well as community groups and charities making and creating for their local communities.
