PART of the work to build a new stand at a football ground ahead of next season's long-awaited return of Worcester City has been changed.
Work has already started to build Worcestershire FA's (WFA) new headquarters at Claines Lane in Worcester as just one part of a major revamp of the facilities which also includes a new 3G artificial pitch, new floodlights and, as revealed in May, another new 100-seat stand for fans.
One of the proposed two 100-seat stands was put in place last year by fellow city club Worcester Raiders, but the WFA need to build another 100-seat stand to ensure the facilities meet requirements and are ready for Worcester City's proposed return to the city next season.
The new stand will now be moved for easier access, under new plans submitted to Worcester City Council.
League requirements means part of the facilities must be covered for at least 300 spectators.
