A RESTAURANT which was forced to close due to the coronavirus has set up a pop-up garden centre on its car park.
Hickory’s Smokehouse Worcester is calling for all green fingered garden lovers to visit their pop-up garden centre, based on its site in Tybridge Street.
The temporary garden centre, The Plant Outpost, will be at the restaurant seven days a week from 9am to 7pm.
The Plant Outpost has also donated to the eatery's Cash for Kids Appeal which supports youngsters in need in various communities.
The American restaurant has posted on its Facebook page on May 24: “We’re pleased to be welcoming independent pop-up garden centre The Plant Outpost to Hickory’s.
“The team will be setting up in our car park from today with an incredible range of exceptional plants, so whether you’re an avid gardener or just discovering a love of it, why not pop down (we've got plenty of space for you to park).
They’ll be here 7 days a week from 9am to 7pm – simply come down, take a look (social distancing is being followed, so you may need to wait at busy times) and stock up on plants.
“We also want to say a massive thank you to The Plant Outpost for their very generous donation to our Cash for Kids Appeal, which will go a long way to helping local families.”
