WAIT: Up to 30 cars allowed to queue for recycling centre
FOLLOWING a road closure yesterday due to stacking traffic, a car park will be used for drivers to queue while waiting to enter a recycling centre.
To prevent closure of the A449 Malvern Link, the highways depot car park will be used for up to 30 cars to queue for the Household Recycling Centre at Newlands.
Once full, the entrance will close and visitors will need to visit the site at a different time once the queue decreases.
Yesterday (May 18), the A449 at Malvern Link was closed in the Worcester direction. Through traffic was being diverted via Spring Lane.
