ALMOST 50 people have now tested positive for coronavirus in Herefordshire as a further seven cases have been confirmed.
Public Health England figures show that 47 people had been confirmed as testing positive for Covid-19 by 9am Thursday morning (April 2) in Herefordshire, up from 40 the same time on Tuesday. A week before, there were 21 cases.
As people who are self-isolating with mild symptoms are not being tested, many cases may not be detected.
It comes as national figures show a further 569 people with coronavirus have died in the UK, the Department of Health has confirmed.
