A FOOD and drink innovation company says recent redundancies were in no way caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
Campden BRI regretfully had to lost 26 staff last month.
Chris Huscroft, CEO of Campden BRI said: βAt the beginning of February we informed staff that we needed to make some structural changes to the business to best meet the needs of clients. A full collective consultation with our union representatives ended on 4th March. Sadly we have had to make 26 roles redundant, some voluntary, from a staff of 370."
"The changes are not connected in any way with the COVID-19 outbreak. We continue to support the food industry with the many challenges it currently faces.β
The company based in Chipping Campden says is helps food and drink businesses succeed through science, technology and information services .
