Worcester's own power pop-rockers, Chevy Chase Stole My Wife, have released their first single since 2017’s well received ‘Haitian Honeymoon’.

Their hotly anticipated track ‘Swayed’ came out on March 1, as a "fizzy slab of addictive indie pop-rock".

Produced by popular local musician Terry Walls, Swayed is driving and catchy pop-rock at its most original. One music critic has described the track as Chevy Chase Stole My Wife at their most muscular".

"It’s rockier than some of our other releases," says singer and songwriter Emma Howett.

She added: "It’s still got that big, hooky chorus that CCSMW songs have, but we wanted to start 2020 with something bold and heavy!"

"The band - known for their quirky videos and irrational love of spiky fruit, such as pineapples, which they have been know to dance with, will be following up the release with a series of shows and festival appearances.
