A WORDSLEY man caused over £1,000 of unlawful damage to three windows in a pub, a court has heard.

Stefan Magin, aged 62, of Wordsley Green, Wordsley, admitted causing £1,500 worth of unlawful damage to three windows at the Mitre Inn, at a hearing at Dudley Magistrates Court.

Magistrates ordered Magin to pay £1,500 in compensation and he also received a 12 month conditional discharge.

The following cases also concluded at Dudley Magistrates Court last week.

Samantha Skidmore, aged 38, of Maynard Avenue, Stourbridge, pleaded guilty to stealing items worth £6.70 from Co-Op. She received a 12 month conditional discharge and was ordered to pay £6.70 in compensation.

Jean Hornby, aged 70, of Sidlaw Close, Halesowen, pleaded guilty to driving over the legal alcohol limit in Halesowen. She was ordered to pay a fine, surcharge and costs totalling £387 and was disqualified from holding a driving licence for 17 months.

Stuart Leedham, aged 42, of Eastfield Road, Tipton, pleaded guilty to drink driving on Flood Street in Dudley. He also admitted driving without due care and attention. He was disqualified from holding a driving licence for 17 months and was ordered to pay a £380 fine, £38 surcharge and £135 in costs.

Esa Harding, aged 33, of Yorkdale Close, Lower Gornal, pleaded guilty to assault by beating. The case was adjourned for a pre-sentence report to be prepared.

Luke Hadley, aged 42, of Washwood Heath Road, Birmingham pleaded guilty to attempting to steal the contents of an ATM in Oldbury. He received a 14 week prison sentence suspended for 12 months and was given an electronically monitored curfew. He was also ordered to pay £600 in compensation.
